The new bishop of La Crosse, Bp. Callahan celebrated the Traditional form of Confirmation at St. Stanislaus Oratory run by the Institute of Christ the King in Milwaukee in June 2009.
In other news, around seventy youths, and, I am told, one adult, were confirmed today with great pomp using the Traditional Form by Bishop Callahan, the administrator of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, at St. Stanislaus Parish and Oratory in Milwaukee, followed by a Sung Mass by Canon Olivier Meney, ICRSP, the rector, where the bishop attended in choro. All the niceties of ritual were observed--the hand-candle, the attendants in cassock and ferraiolo--and the choir sung unaccompanied, and also to the accompaniment of the organ and a violin. As many of you know, the ICKSP is present in both Wausau, and Cashton in the La Crosse diocese.
It's unclear whether Bp Callahan also celebrated the TLM.
Bishop generously changed his schedule to be able to confer the sacrament of confirmation at St. Stanislaus on June 21st at 10:00 am, just before our high Mass. Thank you Bishop.St Stans bulletin

Your new Ordinary will be just fine.
There's a lot to laugh about regarding the 'report' given to Mr. Alderman, however.
Alderman is a traditionalist, so I don't think he meant to be flippant.
This is great news, the more the real mass is utilized the sooner it will return to its rightful place in every parish :)
