Guadalupe Shrine hosts Redemptive Suffering conference

A LENTEN DAY OF RECOLLECTION on Redemptive Suffering will be held at the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe in La Crosse from 9am-4:30pm, Saturday, March 26.

This day conference is being offered by the Institute for Pastoral Theology (IPT) in conjunction with the national Marian Catechist Apostolate. Prof. Douglas Bushman, Director of IPT, and Prof. Ben Nguyen, Assistant Director and former chancellor of the Diocese of La Crosse,  will be presenting three talks centering on the theme of redemptive suffering.  The event will be held at the beautiful Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe (www.guadalupeshrine.org). In addition to the talks there will be Holy Mass, opportunities for confession, Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, Holy Hour and Benediction.

This will be a great opportunity for a spiritually and theologically nourishing Lenten mini-retreat. The event is free and open to the public.

For more information, to R.S.V.P. or to make reservations for the lunch ($10.00) in the Culina Mariana Café, please call (608) 782-0011.
