Abp. Listecki joins Latino re-enactment of Christ's journey to the cross

Milwaukee Archbishop Jerome Listecki will join the Latino Catholic community for the 28th annual “Vía Crucis Viviente on Good Friday," a re-enactment, in Spanish, of Christ's journey to the cross.

Worshipers and performers will follow a mile-and-a-half route between St. Vincent de Paul Parish, 2114 W. Mitchell St., and the Basilica of St. Josaphat, 601 W. Lincoln Ave., stopping at numerous sites along the way to reflect on what Christians call the Stations of the Cross.

The service, from 1-5 p.m., is being coordinated by the archdiocese's Hispanic Ministry Office.
