Planned Parenthood closing Shawano, WI clinic

Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin said it began the process of closing four health centers — a move the organization attributed to budget cuts directed at Planned Parenthood’s patients.

The first health center to close will be in Shawano, Planned Parenthood said Tuesday.  Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin had announced in February plans to close four family-planning health centers this year. The closings are scheduled between April and July. Locations to close are in Shawano, Chippewa Falls, Johnson Creek and Beaver Dam.
