Which vaccines contain aborted babies - Right to Life MI

A short while back I posted on a Minnesota congressman, Rep Steve Drazkowski, whom is supporting a legal measure to force big pharma to label which vaccines contain aborted children's parts and which to not.

Now thanks to Right to Life Michigan, we have a comprehensive list which verifies the claims. This is not just a list of bad vaccines, but also a list of alternative vaccines which do not use aborted babies.
For several years now, information has circulated among prolife groups and individuals regarding the development of very common vaccines through the use of tissue taken from aborted babies. While initially the reports and information were not conclusively documented, further detailed research by several prolife groups has provided direct proof of a connection between aborted fetal tissue and most vaccines. That connection, and its implications for whether prolife citizens should consider using the vaccines, raises some complicated issues. In sorting through those issues, this LifeNotes will address the basic science involved, the documentation of the abortion-vaccine connection, the moral/ethical questions about using abortion-tainted vaccines, and information about available alternative vaccines.

FWIW...

Our pediatrician was THE most Catholic MD I've ever known; may God rest his soul.

He had considered all the argumentation regarding the vaccines and ultimately dismissed the whole thing. It is NOT a matter of conscience for Catholic parents.

Knowing (Dr.) Tom, he consulted with some excellent priests on the question, perhaps even including the priest whose retreat you posted about above.

Thanks Dad. My thought is it's just bad science to say the least.

I'm not sure if this evidence was available at the time the good doctor had researched the issue either.

Indeed, many of these vaccines which use aborted babies are now being linked to autism.

Umnhhhhh....be wary of that.

There's a counter-argument to her take on the studies, too.

Think about it: where was all that autism prior to 2000 AD? Or is she claiming that there are NEW vaccine-strains, introduced since 2000 (or so) which have this effect?

It's my experience that some folks get a 'fixation' on a given topic and relate EVERYTHING to that topic.

See, e.g., WorldNetDaily's fixation with Dispensationalism.

I see what your saying, don't try to make the numbers fit conveniently into the theory.

Do you think aborted fetal parts are put into vaccines? Or are you saying that the process is so complicated, that even the experts cannot say for certain, therefore Catholics are not culpable of sin for participating when they receive the vaccines? I assume since there are some companies with no problem experimenting on aborted babies(hey, its cheap product) that they would not think twice about using those parts in their final product.

The discussion I had with our pediat'n about that was held around 10 years ago. At that time, he said that the vaccine-lines were SO OLD (derived in the 1950's or so?? IIRC??) that there could be no culpability whatsoever for anyone purchasing the vaccines.

More here:

http://www.immunize.org/concerns/vaticandocument.htm

"As regards those who need to use such vaccines for reasons of health, it must be emphasized that, apart from every form of formal cooperation, in general, doctors or parents who resort to the use of these vaccines for their children, in spite of knowing their origin (voluntary abortion), carry out a form of very remote mediate material cooperation, and thus very mild, in the performance of the original act of abortion, and a mediate material cooperation, with regard to the marketing of cells coming from abortions, and immediate, with regard to the marketing of vaccines produced with such cells. The cooperation is therefore more intense on the part of the authorities and national health systems that accept the use of the vaccines.

"...Therefore, doctors and fathers of families have a duty to take recourse to alternative vaccines13 (if they exist), putting pressure on the political authorities and health systems so that other vaccines without moral problems become available. They should take recourse, if necessary, to the use of conscientious objection14 with regard to the use of vaccines produced by means of cell lines of aborted human foetal origin

"...As regards the diseases against which there are no alternative vaccines which are available and ethically acceptable, it is right to abstain from using these vaccines if it can be done without causing children, and indirectly the population as a whole, to undergo significant risks to their health. However, if the latter are exposed to considerable dangers to their health, vaccines with moral problems pertaining to them may also be used on a temporary basis. The moral reason is that the duty to avoid passive material cooperation is not obligatory if there is grave inconvenience. Moreover, we find, in such a case, a proportional reason, in order to accept the use of these vaccines in the presence of the danger of favouring the spread of the pathological agent, due to the lack of vaccination of children. This is particularly true in the case of vaccination against German measles"

(That last graf is the payoff line.)

Thank you for passing this along. I am new to the whole abortion/vaccination thing. I see that measles do have an alternative that are not created from aborted fetal parts, which is good. It would be nice to see legislation proposed which offered the choice to parents where the alternative is available. And certainly the chicken pox vaccine is not necessary(and I have read not very effective), so there are vaccines listed here which could or should(it is right) be avoided. (it is right to abstain from using these vaccines if it can be done without causing children)
