Scott Turkington is an internationally acclaimed expert and presenter on Gregorian chant and Renaissance polyphony.  He has 25 years of experience instructing singers of all abilities.  He is a Director of the Church Music Association of America, and founder of the St. Gregory Institute for Music and Liturgy, and the Stamford Schola Gregoriana.  A native of Minneapolis, he is Organist and Choirmaster for the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist in Charleston, SC.  He has held distinguished posts in Boston, Connecticut, and at the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, DC.

Participants will:
  • Become more familiar with the Church's rich patrimony of Gregorian Chant
  • Learn practical ways to introduce chant into their own parishes
  • Receive a hard-bound copy of the Parish Book of Chant
  • Conclude the workshop singing the Proper and Ordinary Chants for Sunday Mass
