Abp. Listecki to celebrate annual Assumption of Mary Mass at Good Help Shrine


3,000 attended the event a few years ago, which seems about the average since the approval.  In 2013, Cardinal George celebrated this event.  I can't find it now, but I've read that decades ago, there used to be upwards of 10,000 pilgrims in attendance for the Assumption Feast.

This is such a beautiful place. But that "official statue" of Mary needs to be redone. It looks so cheap and tacky.

Yep, I agree. I'm not sure what the heck happened with that, if it was political to satisfy a donor or what.
