Abortionist Who Posted Signs Mocking Christianity Having Troubles Opening in Wisconsin

An abortionist who routinely posted vulgar signs mocking Christianity and pro-life supporters has been denied admitting privileges at three hospitals in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where he relocated after the State of Illinois shut down his filthy abortion business in Rockford citing serious health and safety violations.

Dennis Christensen, now of Affiliated Medical Services (AMS) in Milwaukee, reported that his applications for hospital privileges were denied after U.S. District Judge William Conley ordered him to follow up on his applications as part of a suit challenging the 2013 Wisconsin law that requires abortionists to maintain hospital privileges within 30 miles of their abortion facilities.

Christensen’s associate at AMS and co-plaintiff,Bernard Smith, was also denied hospital admitting privileges.

The two abortionists joined with Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin in pursuing a legal challenge to the new law and earlier received an injunction that has so far kept them in business. The trial in the case concluded on May 30. A ruling from Judge Conley is pending.

Wis. Judge Tells Abortionist: Quit Trying to Break the Law and Put Women’s Lives at Risk

A federal judge in Wisconsin has a message for an abortion practitioner who is trying to overturn a pro-life law requiring abortion clinics to ensure their abrotionists have admitting privileges at a local hospital. The law is meant to protect women’s health in cases when botched abortions put their lives at risk.

The judge essentially old the abortion practitioner to quit worrying about trying to overturn the law with a lawsuit and to bother to actually follow the requirements of the statute.

Not only have such laws protected women’s health, but they have resulted, in other states, in shutting down abortion businesses that won’t comply with this basic health and safety standard. When the state of Texas clamped down on abortion clinics that could not follow basic health and safety standards and failed to ensure abortion practitioners had admitting privileges at local hospitals in cases where women are injured in botched abortions, abortion clinics closed down because they couldn’t comply. As many as 20 Texas abortion clinics have closed or stopping doing abortions.

Milwaukee's Pro-life advocate Dan Miller says ‘farewell to Farwell’

Dan Miller
An injunction for harassment was recently granted against a local pro-life advocate and leader of 40 Days for Life, a campaign working to end abortion through prayer, fasting and peaceful vigil, that could keep him from volunteering near Affiliated Medical Services on Farwell Avenue until Dec. 17, 2017.

But Dan Miller, with the help of the Chicago-based Thomas More Society, a national public interest law firm, and local lead counsel from a Brookfield-based law firm, will appeal the injunction that stems from a Temporary Restraining Order Milwaukee Police served Miller June 19, 2012, at the request of Alan Keltner.

Miller said Keltner, a volunteer for Affiliated Medical Services, is “very aggressive, more than most,”[LOL! He's going to charge!] while Miller and volunteers are on the sidewalk counseling women heading into the abortion clinic. The injunction hearing came after an event that happened involving 40 Days for Life volunteers and Keltner in October.

“He approached one of our vigiler’s three daughters and began to occupy their personal space uncomfortably close and took it upon himself to give them a completely inappropriate sex education class … ” Miller said, explaining he knew who Keltner was and wanted to make others who brought children to pray with them aware of his actions.

Affiliated Medical Services joins Planned Parenthood in discontinuing RU-486 abortions

From Pro-Life Wisconsin:On Friday, April 20, Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin announced their indefinite suspension of medication-induced abortions across the state, citing the effect of Wisconsin Act 217 – the Coercive and Webcam Abortion Prevention Act.

Now, we learned that Affiliated Medical Services — Wisconsin’s only late-term abortion facility, one of two surgical abortion facilities in Milwaukee and site of 40 Days for Life in Milwaukee – has discontinued RU-486 abortions as well.

From Affiliated’s website (also confirmed via sidewalk counselors’ interactions with AMS staff):
Effective 5-11-12  Due to pending legislation in Wisconsin, we are no longer able to offer the Abortion Pill.  We regret this inconvenience and encourage you to contact state legislators and the Governor to express your frustration!

These two sites are significant – Milwaukee recorded the second highest number of saved babies during the spring 40 DFL campaign, and Green Bay was the first city out of Texas to undertake the 40 day prayer campaign.

Join us in praying for an end to abortion.

Manger Danger: Milwaukee abortion facility called 911 to report manger, Christmas carolers

From Pro-Life Wisconsin:
We have written about what unfolded at our Empty Manger Christmas Caroling event at Affiliated Medical Services in Milwaukee on Friday, December 23.

An open records request made to the Milwaukee Police Department turned up the 911 call made by Affiliated staff on that day. You read that right — Affiliated called 911 to report Christmas carolers and a manger in front.

Milwaukee abortion workers dance in street after botched abortion

via Pro-Life Wisconsin

This past Friday, October 21, an ambulance rolled up to Affiliated Medical Services to take away yet another woman to a nearby hospital after a botched abortion. Abortionist Bernie Smith was reportedly on duty.

AMS staff can be seen laughing, dancing and doing the limbo as the woman was taken away. One AMS staffer even threatened vigilers, saying, “You’re lucky it isn’t you in the hospital.”

AMS’s consent forms (available publicly on their website, snippet below)  state, in part, “Complications, including death, may occur.”

Those who lobby for abortion’s legality claim that if abortion were made illegal, women would have to resort to dirty, back-alley abortions. But the reverse has actually happened — as was sadly illustrated with Kermit Gosnell’s “House of Horrors” abortuary in Philadelphia, the dirty, back-alley abortions are legal and no one is watching.

This is at least the third time this year an ambulance has arrived at AMS after a botched abortion; sidewalk counselors recorded two separate ambulance visits on April 8. Abortion facilities in Milwaukee are not subject to health inspections. Some days the smell of death — blood and flesh — can be smelled wafting out of AMS when the staff open the doors.

AMS has been the site of 40 Days for Life for three years now. Sidewalk counselors and prayer warriors are present at AMS year-round as well. 40 Days vigilers were in front of AMS when this occurred.

Women have been taken to Columbia St. Mary’s after botched abortions, forcing a Catholic hospital and staff to clean up the abortionist’s mess.
